About

Hi! I’m Mike Reynolds.

I’m a contract Sitecore Architect. You can find me on the Sitecore Community Slack as @sitecorejunkie. If you’re not on the Slack, you should send an invite request here: http://siteco.re/sitecoreslack

I’ve been developing solutions in Sitecore since 2007. I started on version 5.2.

This is a place where I will share Sitecore development things I’ve learned or experimented with.

Please take note: this is a code-enriched blog, and not for the faint at heart :).

Have you had any experience using fields like RichText or Image within a custom field?

Hi Mike, thanks for sharing sitecore ToDo’s. Can you help me figure out how to display submitted data after form submission. To be more clear – let say there is a sitecore web form with a dropdown having 2 options (value – Yes, No and displayed text – 1, 2) and user selected one of them. After submitting that form – in success message (not email) how can I display selected dropdown value (Yes/No). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and keep on sharing your sitecore experiments.

Thanks for posting the solution for showing submitted values on a confirmation page. This was a great help.

    Hi Mike,
I’m looking to broaden my knowledge of Sitecore. Currently, searching for a book, and came across your blog. You mentioned the one from John West, why is a new one $500 and a used copy $60? Will I be missing something if I get the used one?

    Thanks,
    Seth Kendall

    • Hey Seth,

I’m not sure where you are seeing the $500 price but I think the new copies are vastly more expensive due to the publisher not printing out many copies today.

You won’t go wrong with a used copy.

      Cheers,

      Mike
